XLR8R: Justin Martin Announces Debut Album Release

Its official, Justin Martin, responsible for the development of some of San Francisco’s finest Bootyshakin House & Tech House tunes is gearing up to drop a bomb on his close pal Claude Vonstroke’s Dirtybird imprint which has played host to a number on Justin Martin’s releases in the past, including releases alongside his brother Christian Martin under the alias The Martin Brothers.

On May 22nd 2012, Martin’s LP will available for purchase…stick the date on the calendar, this ones a must.

Point Blank Presents: Dirtybird Hatched Tour

A  series of parties that include all the right players in the modern wave of fluffy winged beatsmiths of the time, taking place across the globe. Kicking off at the very nest of the Dirtybird HQ – San Francisco on February 10th, the tour will see Claude Vonstroke and his entourage of feathered bass driven pals hit venues in New York, Detroit, Los Angeles and Miami in the States to a few select shows over the pond here in the UK. The first being at Digital, Brighton on April 5th and then an undisclosed warehouse location in London on the the bank holiday weekend of April 7th. By all accounts, this will be a spectacle that has not yet been witnessed by us Brits; you only have to hear some of the talk about the legendary Golden Gate parties in San Fran & watch the video to see what all the hype is about. We’re excited all ready!!!
